To help you find that 'mountain feeling' Madame Vacances recommends several excellent destinations: Saint-Lary-Soulan is the perfect base for exploring the area, with many fantastic walks and hikes possible in this great natural landscape. Bordering Spain, near the nature reserve of Néouvielle, and home to the Fisherman's Festival and the night markets, there is plenty to see and do.
The station Peyragudes is characterised by its traditional buildings, vast area of ski slopes and typical mountain charm, making it one of the most beautiful ski regions in the Pyrenees.
Come and take in the fresh Pyrenean air whilst taking part in activities such as ski-shoeing, cross-country and downhill skiing, 10km dog-sleds, para-gliding, rock climbing, horse riding and mini-golf.
